Floral Artisan (Fresh Flowers)

As a Floral Artisan, the primary responsibility is to create high-quality floral decor for everyday orders and perform the floral installation for events and weddings. A Floral Artisan should have good coordination with the cleanliness and tidiness of the workplace.

A Floral Artisan should also have knowledge about a wide range of floral designs, flowers, foliage along with their seasonal availability and how long they will stay fresh. All designs and duties are to be performed in accordance with the standard operating policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform floral arrangements according to the production schedules.
  2. Ensure floral arrangements, control and standards for each product are according to the company quality standards and client's requirements.
  3. Maintain inventories of materials, equipment and products.
  4. Assess project and resource requirements.
  5. Decorate onsite event spaces such as for corporate events, parties or weddings. 
  6. Conduct classes or workshops onsite as required.
  7. Create and change in-store and window displays, designs, and looks to enhance a shop's image.
  8. Water the plants, cut, condition, and clean flowers and foliage for storage.
  9. Unpack stocks upon receiving into the shop.
  10. Perform general cleaning duties to ensure the shop is clean and tidy.
  11. Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee.

Requirements

  • No prior experience in floristry necessary although experience is preferred
  • Have a love of flowers and people
  • Have a strong sense of urgency, responsibility, focus and discipline

Floral Artisan (Preserved & Dried Flowers)

As a Floral Artisan, the primary responsibility is to create high-quality floral decor with preserved or dried flowers. A Floral Artisan should also have good coordination with the cleanliness and tidiness of the workplace. All designs and duties are to be performed in accordance with the standard operating policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform floral arrangements with preserved and dried flowers according to the production schedules.
  2. Ensure floral arrangements, control and standards for each product are according to the company quality standards and client's requirements.
  3. Maintain inventories of materials, equipment and products.
  4. Assess project and resource requirements.
  5. Perform general cleaning duties to ensure the workplace is clean and tidy.
  6. Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the Floral Artisan.

  • No prior experience in floristry is necessary although experience is preferred.
  • Have a love of flowers and people.
  • Have a strong sense of urgency, responsibility, focus and discipline.

Gift Artisan

Florist Assistant

As a Florist Assistant, the primary responsibility is to ensure that the preparation work is performed in order to allow the Floral Artisan to create flower arrangements at an effective speed. A Florist Assistant should have good coordination with the cleanliness and tidiness of the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and upkeep freshness of flowers (unload and unwrap flowers from boxes and packaging, strip thorns and dead petals, give foliages a fresh cut, prepare buckets with water and refrigerate flowers)
  2. Maintain cleanliness of the premise (sweep up thorns and branches, leaves and other debris, wash florist tools such as scissors and knives)
  3. Prepare floristry materials (prepare sponges, wires and wrappers)

Requirements

  • No prior experience in floristry necessary 
  • Have a love of flowers and people
  • Have a strong sense of urgency, responsibility, focus and discipline
