I’m an entrepreneur but I’m also a mum, which means that I wear many hats and sometimes work up to 12 hours a day. The only reason I’m able to go through my day-to-day is because I’m surrounded by strong, caring and courageous women.
My own mum is always there for me, from looking after my daughter to teaching me how to care for house plants. My close girl friends, some of whom are also entrepreneurs, are always ready to share resources and provide support. My amazing colleagues at BloomThis make it possible for me to continue doing what I love.
I’ll admit that I don’t always say thank you enough. Sometimes, caught up in the hecticness of urban life, it’s not always possible to find time to catch up or make a phone call.
